The award, the leave nobody took and the notice nobody served, added up — for any of the six GCC countries. No sign-up, no email, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Nothing here leaves your browser. There is no server to send it to.
Basic only — housing, transport and other allowances sit outside this calculation.
It makes no difference under this country's rules: resigning and being dismissed accrue at the same rate.
The balance on the last day, not the days taken. Leave taken in advance goes in as a negative and comes off the settlement — and if you do not know the balance, the leave calculator works it out.
Days of notice paid for rather than worked. Leave it at zero where the notice was served.
Put in a salary and two dates. The figure appears here, with the working shown.

Why is this different from the figure my employer gave me?
Usually one of three things: continuity of service, what counts as basic pay, and the leave balance. The formula is rarely the disagreement. Check the periods of unpaid absence first — that is where most of these start.
Is the award calculated on basic pay or on total salary?
It depends on the country, which is why the salary box changes its label when you switch. The UAE, Qatar and Oman calculate on basic; Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait calculate on the wage. A package that is mostly allowance produces very different figures either side of that line.
Does resigning reduce it?
In Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, yes — below a threshold of service a resignation keeps only a fraction of the award, and below the lowest threshold it keeps none of it. The UAE removed that reduction in the 2021 law, and Qatar, Oman and Bahrain do not apply one.
When does it have to be paid?
Days rather than weeks in every one of the six — fourteen of them in the UAE. That deadline is missed far more often than the calculation is wrong, and usually for the dull reason that the leave balance and the last partial month sit in different systems.
More on the rest of it on the All GCC countries.
Dawmo carries the award, the leave balance and the notice on one employment record, so the settlement is a number you read rather than a spreadsheet you build during somebody's last week.
